Our high school construction is getting noticed! When the new school year begins in January, our currently enrolled students will welcome 305 new friends. That’s a total of 478 students! And that number continues to grow daily as word gets out that Gurap St Xavier’s is open and serving students through middle school.

A full scholarship is $492/year or $41/month. This gift provides room and board; nutritious meals; clothing/uniforms; textbooks and educational materials; music, dance and sports programs; and basic healthcare.

I’m Lipika Tudu studying in 6th Standard at St. Xavier’s Gurap. Fr. Vinay tells us always to dream big and study well.

I love to stay in hostel and study; I don’t like to stay at home. Fr. Vinay had taken us for educational tour to Kolkata. I saw for the first time, Kolkata city, St. Xavier’s College Kolkata, St. Xavier’s University and big buildings.

After finishing my class 12th from St. Xavier’s School Gurap, I will study in St. Xavier’s College and become a teacher. I‘ll earn money, make a big building, buy a car and look after my parents. Here I’m grateful to Fr. Vinay, Fr. Markus, Brother, Sister and all my teachers. I pray to God that all of us keep in good health and mind. My only desire now is to study in St. Xavier’s College.
