This beautiful, two-story building is much more than a structure—it’s the heart of the campus and a bold statement of our care for the Santal students!
On the ground floor, a new, efficient kitchen and dining hall offer greater cooking capacity and a reliable shelter during seasonal floods and high heat. The large dining hall/multipurpose room will be the only indoor space on campus that can hold the full capacity of the school (1,200 students). This is a space to gather—for meals, learning and cultural events—to share daily life, laughter and experiences that create lasting connection.
The second floor will provide comfortable accommodations for teachers, Jesuits, and visitors or volunteers. With private bathrooms and its own common areas for connection, the space will support our vision for service and mission trips while fostering a sense of community and hospitality.
• Complete the 4th floor and rooftop of the school
• Add a floor to the girls’ dormitory
• Solve needs for boy’s boarding
• Design and stock a school library
• Increase the number of teachers and tutors, especially to support STEAM
• Equip chemistry, biology, physics and geography labs
• Add more support staff, Santal parents
• Hire a female and male PE teacher, and more sports coaches
• Expand our arts program: fine arts, music and dance
• Upgrade to solar panels and modern generators
• Build borewells and undertake other flooding mitigation projects
• Complete roads and courtyards
• Develop the land behind the school building: a new pond, sports fields
